Navya

Navya
TELEVISION channels must use their words advisedly. When you announce that a show will be “new and bold” and that “it will be relatable for the young generation of India”,they must make sure that the show lives upto its promise.

This cannot be done by having a protagonist who is “docile, shy, non-aggressive, self-effacing”, as Star Plus does with its new show Navya - Nayi Dhadkan, Naye Sawaal, starring newcomer, Soumya Seth. After all, which modern boy or girl is going to identify with a girl who cannot stay over at her friends’ place, get home after 7 pm, and wear jeans?
