Their wedding was a low profile ceremony which took place in Prithvi’s hometown at Palakkad, states reports.
He tied the knot with Supriya in the presence of his mother Mallika Sukumaran, Indrajith his brother-actor, and close family members and friends in Thenkurissi Heritage Villa, Palakkad.
The wedding ceremony was attended by a handful of 50 people as Prithvi wanted to keep his wedding a close knitted affair. The newly wedded couple however is planning to throw a lavish wedding reception for their industry and media friends.
Prithviraj’s love affair with Supriya Menon made news last month in South. But the actor tactfully handled the news and denied the report. Prithviraj’s wife Supriya is reporter in a popular English news channel in Mumbai.
The Malayalam actor was last seen in Urumi, a trilingual project directed by Santosh Sivan. A Malayalam tabloid stated that Prithviraj has already booked a five starbanquet hall—Le Meridian in Ernakulam.
The lavish wedding reception will take place here on 1st May. The two met after Prithviraj’s film Raavan was released following which he was interviewed by Supriya Menon and gradually the two fell in love.
