Jason Ellis

Jason Ellis
Jason Ellis is a professional skateboarder and has dabbled in mixed martial arts on the side. Now, he will add another title to his ever-expanding list of jobs: Television host.
"Ellismania" is the name of the show and it debuts tonight on Fuel TV.
Here's how Ellis described the show during an interview with FuelTV.com:
"It's the funniest fight night that's ever happened and it's the funniest thing you'll ever see in a boxing ring. I would say it's the funniest thing to happen this year and last year as well. There is no video you have that's funnier than my TV show. I think my show is the funniest, most exciting thing that has been on TV in two years, and I cant think of another show ever that was better."
Maybe he's speaking hyperbolically, but the show sounds funny. I can decipher through all these mixed messages that Ellis is sending out.
Here's another description from NeonTommy.com:
FUEL TV's VP of Production and Development, Scott Paridon, said, "I have never produced, or even seen, a show like this before."
While Jason Ellis described the fights as being good hearted and between people who want to fight for the fun of it, there are twists and turns thrown in, which vary from fight to fight.
The show sounds like a combination of "Jackass" and "Tosh.0." With a lot of really dumb, but adventurous people doing some really dumb things and getting big laughs out of it.
Ellis is a crazy person, if you have ever heard his radio show or seen him in an interview you would know this, but he is also a very funny, charismatic person who is bringing that unique personality to television with this show.
"I think it [fighting] should be painful and funny," Ellis said. "A little bit of both is the perfect combination."
Is there anything better in the world than watching two crazy people try and fight?
