Elisha Cuthbert

Elisha Cuthbert
The 2011 NHL playoffs get underway tonight, which is why it's somewhat surprising that hockey WAG extraordinaire Elisha Cuthbert, the star of hit movie The Girl Next Door, and FOXs smash hit 24, is debuting a new show tonight.
Cuthbert is the star of Happy Endings, which is set to air on ABC tonight at 9:30 P.M. EST. Tune in and you'll get a double dose of the new sitcom, with back-to-back episodes airing.
The blonde bombshell plays the role of Alex, who opens the show as a runaway bride in what appears to be another romantic comedy about a group of friends trying to figure out some of life's big problems.
Elisha has been a regular on the NHL WAG scene for several years now, being linked first to Rangers pest Sean Avery, then later to Flames and Maple Leafs enforcer Dion Phaneuf, who she's still in a relationship with.

She has long been a staple on FHM and Maxim's "Hot 100" lists, and is a regular on any sexy WAG list you'll find on Bleacher Report. The blonde bombshell brings the smolder like few other NHL WAGs can, and remains one of the elite wives or girlfriends in all of sports. She's been a bit underrated over the years, but there's no denying her smolder.
The question is, will Cuthbert's new role last, or will it go the way of so many sitcoms before it, getting the axe within the first season or two?
So far, the reviews have been positive, saying that the cast has a great chemistry, and that Cuthbert shines as Elizabeth.
Plus, Phaneuf will be able to enjoy every episode of the first season, as the Maple Leafs failed to make the playoffs this season. In other words, if you don't watch, he could come to your house and give you the same treatment he gives to forwards all season long.
