Sun went undercover in the company she runs with her husband, J.D., BrightStar Care.
The company, a healthcare company, was first established in 2002 and is now worth more than $100 million.
Both Sun and J.D. went undercover in the latest episode of hit television show “Undercover Boss.”
Two important moments in the show were when Sun ended up in California as a temp in a nursing home. She was trained by Arlene, a CNA, who she learned a lot more than personal hygiene from. She learned of Arlene’s struggles with her daughter and life as a single parent. Next, Sun moved to Ohio where she met an LPN named Lisa, she learned of her struggles with the job and its lack of full-time hours.
Mostly, Sun learned about her staff and how hard they work. When she finally revealed her identity, it wasn’t the only surprise she would give. Sun handed out vacations, new jobs and even made Arlene her own boss.
