Brandon Marshall

Even after he's long gone from Denver, Miami Dolphins and former Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall continues to be haunted by domestic incidents.
Marshall is in intensive care in a Miami-Broward General hospital today recovering from a stab wound to the stomach during an incident involving his wife Friday night.
Marshall's wife Michi Nogami-Marshall is incarcerated in Broward County on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The stab wound did not penetrate any of Marshall's vital organs.
"This is a very difficult time for Brandon and his family," said Harvey Steinberg, Marshall's Denver-based attorney. "Thankfully he will make a full and complete recovery and be ready to play this season if there is a season. We just ask that people respect his privacy during this very difficult time."
Steinberg began representing Marshall since 2007 when the receiver first became involved in what would become numerous domestic incidents involving his then girlfriend Rasheedah Watley.
On Aug. 14, 2009, Steinberg won Marshall an acquittal from a six-person Atlanta jury on battery charges stemming from an incident the previous year with Watley. At the time, Marshall was engaged to Nogami, who attended the trial.
Marshall proposed to Nogami in February, 2009 while he was in Hawaii to play in the Pro Bowl. Three weeks later, Marshall and Nogami were involved in a fierce argument in Atlanta that led to their arrest on disorderly conduct charges. Steinberg had the charges dismissed the next day.
Marshall, acquired from the Broncos in a trade last April, led the Dolphins in receiving yards in 2010 with 1,014 despite missing two games with a hamstring injury.
Marshall signed a four-year deal worth $47.5 million, with $24 million guaranteed, when he joined the Dolphins.
