Perhaps it’s because its tax season, or maybe it’s because spring is in the air and the people over at Steam are in a good mood, whatever the reason, Steam is offering a ridiculously good deal on Gearbox Software’s first-person shooter-meets RPG, Borderlands, today only.
The company is knocking off 75 percent off of all Borderland products. The Game of the Year edition, which features additional post-release content in addition to the original game, is now just $7.50. The original version is only $4.99 today.
If you already own Borderlands and want to purchase a DLC pack, you can save 75 percent on those, too. Individually, each pack is now $2.49, but all four can be purchased for just $7.49 today.
If you’ve been waiting patiently for Gearbox Software’s Duke Nukem Foreverrelease, whose date has repeatedly slipped further and further away, and is now due out in June, Borderlands may just be enough to tide you over.
